SCAM & The Glam | Part 1

It is very important that we understand that there are perpetrators out here, who are out to harm our reputations as modeling agencies and beyond. They will prey on those who are vulnerable and desperate to be in the modeling industry. One tactic the perpetrators will use is to tell you that they are working with a very reputable company to draw your attention like Adidas. During the SCAM & The GLAM Blog Series there will be blogs with tips to help you become aware of the SCAM ARTIST. Education and safety pertaining to this is key!

For example, Modeltude Agency has perpetrators out here pretending to be our agency and stating that they are working with Adidas. They are using social media especially Instagram to reach out to aspiring models through their messenger. We experienced an aspiring model reaching out to us. She informed us that she had received a check from our agency and wanted to know if we were legit and she asked how to wire funds to us. This is an ULTIMATE NO!

Tip #1: You DO NOT EVER send your personal/banking information to anyone that you know nothing about. If you receive a check in the mail from the perpetrator PLEASE DO NOT CASH IT. You do not want to become part of the SCAM. The checks are FAKE. You must DISCARD the FAKE check(s). If you want to take a picture of it for evidence along with the envelope that is perfectly fine.

Philippians 4:6 states: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.
